I have been experimenting with new beauty products more than ever this summer. Now that I am 40, and living in Florida, I recognize how much more proactive I need to be around skin and hair protection. I have also been trying to switch up some of my beauty looks. Don’t get me wrong, I love having a routine (this has been it for almost 10 years), but sometimes change is good! Below you can see a few favorite products I have been using over the past six weeks. I am currently testing a few things such as this lip lift, this body wash, and this mask. I will report back on those in next month’s installment.
EXTREME CLEANSE
This is one of my best selling products of all time. I love nearly everything INNBEAUTY creates, which is why I was extra excited for this cleanser. It is so effective while also being nourishing. It just launched and the reviews here are already glowing.

DREAM LIP OIL
Summer Fridays continues to expand their offerings. I got my hands on this lip oil in ‘bare sand’ and it is a total dream. It is the perfect light shade of a nude with a hint of pink. It goes on easy and isn’t sticky. I loved it so much that I went ahead and ordered two shades of their lip stain that I have yet to test.

HOPE IN A JAR
When it comes to moisturizers I am always trying new formulas and brands. The humidity is unbearable right now in Sarasota and I was looking for a face moisturizer that felt lighter than my go-to magic cream. This one holds the perfect balance, keeping my skin moisturized while not feeling too heavy for the summer heat and humidity.

EYESHADOW PALETTE
I am a creature of habit when it comes to makeup. Even when I try new brands or products I tend to know what I like when it comes to tones and colors. I am extremely picky with eyeshadow. I prefer true neutral tones that do not have any hint of shimmer or shine. This has quickly become one of my favorite palettes.

HYDRO THERAPY
If you have followed here for a bit you know that my hair has experienced quite the journey. I went from extremely damaged, overly blonde hair, to finally getting my hair healthy. The steps to success were less highlighting, applying little to no heat, and finding the right products. Lately I have been using this to keep my pesky flyaways to a minimum and increase shine!

LIBERTY FRAGRANCE
Fragrance is not really my thing, but when I find one that I love I can get into the groove of wearing it everyday. Right now this is what I am using. It has a crispy, citrus scent with just a hint of jasmine. An absolutely perfect end of summer scent. Bonus points for the bottle that looks so pretty on my dresser.

CLEANSING BALM
Last but not least is this refreshing cleansing balm from Fresh. It just launched! I love that it works similar to an oil cleansing balm but is far less messy and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or overly greasy. The scent is also unbelievably refreshing.
