Whenever I visit NYC I wouldn’t say my style totally changes, but it does shift. I need shoes that I can walk blocks in, pieces that I can mix and match with more items in my luggage, and those easy pieces for all the in between moments in the city. On this trip I have been wearing the following three pieces nonstop: these pants, this top (on sale!), and these flip flops. I am going to dive into some of the styles that I packed and those that I keep reaching for.
BLACK PANTS // Florida Blair would be shocked! I have been wearing black pants quite a bit this trip! I traveled in these pants that are one of my favorite pieces. I own them in olive and red and they are such a great length and the perfect weight for summer. These pants have been worn over and over and are ofter on display here on Atlantic-Pacific. Sadly, they are now sold out now. That being said, I also love these, these, and these, all of which are quite similar. Last but certainly not least are these ponte barrel leg pants that I have both dressed up and dressed down. I would jump on these if you are interested – sizes are going fast!
COMFY FLATS // A NYC no brainer – always have comfortable flats. I have been fully converted into the flip flop trend and these and these are my current favorites. I love that they are both under $100 and I can wear them all day long. Never say never, but I don’t think I will be investing in $700 flip flops. Okay, now we need to talk about these flats. They are so darling in the raffia, and honestly, they feel like you are wearing slippers. I wore them on my travel day and I have now been wearing them all over the city. BONUS – they are now on sale!
EASY TOPS // In the above shot I am wearing this organza top. I bought it full price (eye roll), but luckily you can get it on sale here. I love how it is sheer and light but isn’t overly see through. Other than this top I have been wearing a lot of easy tees like this one and this one. The temps have been high!
